  • Basic PDF tools: Files are processed in your browser when possible and are not uploaded to our server.
  • AI tools: Text extracted from your PDF is sent to our server and to our AI provider to generate summaries, answers, or translations.
  • License information: Your payment email and license key are used to validate Pro access.
  • Payment information: Payments are handled by our third-party payment provider.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide PDF processing and AI features
  • To validate Pro licenses and usage limits
  • To process payments through our payment provider
  • To diagnose errors and improve the Service

3. File and Text Handling

Basic tools such as merge, image conversion, and PDF rendering run locally in the browser when possible. AI tools extract text from your PDF in the browser, then send that text to the server for processing. Scanned or image-only PDFs may not work unless selectable text can be extracted.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

  • AI API providers, when you use AI-powered tools
  • Payment processors, to handle transactions
  • Infrastructure providers, to host and operate the Service
  • Law enforcement, only when required by law

5. Browser Storage

We use browser storage to remember license status and daily usage counters. Clearing browser data may remove this local state.

6. Your Rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we control, subject to legal and operational requirements.

7. Data Retention

Browser-processed files are not intentionally stored by our server. AI request text may be processed transiently by our server and AI provider. Payment records may be retained by the payment provider as required by law.

8. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
